Hi, I'm Josephine!
The face behind the lens here at Josephine Wedding Photography. I'm thrilled to have you stop by and learn a little bit more about my work and the person who'll be capturing your special moments.

First and foremost, let me extend a massive congratulations on your upcoming celebration! Whether you're planning a photo shoot for just the two of you or a glitzy gathering with your nearest and dearest, I'm honored to be considered to document your love story.

My approach to photography is all about personalisation and connection. I believe that your photos should reflect who you are as a couple—your quirks, your inside jokes, and the little moments that make your relationship unique. That's why each of my services is tailored to fit your vision, style, and personalities perfectly.
Now, let's get to know each other a bit.

I want to make you feel like yourselves, to capture the laughter, the tears, the stolen glances, and the wee moments that make your relationship truly yours. To do this, I want to make sure I get the real you by arranging meetings before the big day to remove any awkwardness and ensure you get the attentive service you deserve.
So, what can you expect when you choose me as your photographer?
Well, aside from stunning images that will make you fall in love all over again, you'll also get a friendly face behind the camera who's here to make your experience as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.

And, as well as a photographer you''ll gain a confidant and a help handing that can grab you canapés, freshen up your glass of bubbly and will hype you up, all day and all night.

Outside of Wedding Photography, I work within the world of theatre, with actors to capture their headshots and in rehearsal rooms documenting the creation of new work set for Scottish theatres. I initially trained as an actor in Edinburgh and I still very much love to be part of that world. I think that is what drew me to capturing weddings, the pillars of storytelling through photography are very present and there are so many different and personal stories to tell through the unique weddings I work at.

I am a MASSIVE fan of food and cooking. The perfect evening consists of me cooking one of my favourite meals, watching some good TV and having a relatively early night. A very wild picture of a mid-20-something - I know. I find a lot of pleasure in the small things and I care about the details... I have a bad habit of not turning this off sometimes and you can often find me starting a wardrobe clearout late into the night...
